Seaweed soup (Miyeok Guk)
Soak dried seaweed in large bowl of cold water for about 10 minutes. Drain well.
Cut the beef into thin bite size pieces. Marinate with garlic, salt and a pinch of pepper.
Heat a large pot over medium heat. Sauté beef with sesame oil and stir fry until the meat is no longer red.
Add dried seaweed and fish sauce and stir fry for 3~4 minutes.
Pour water into the pot and boil it for 20 ~ 30 minutes until the meat is tender.
Add salt or pepper as per your taste.
Serve with steamed rice.
